🏛️ State License Law 📍 Oregon

📖 What you need to know

In Oregon, all real estate advertising must be truthful and not misleading, and it must identify the licensee's registered business name so the public knows a licensed professional is involved. Brokers generally advertise under the supervision of their principal broker, and the principal broker's firm is responsible for ensuring advertising and trust-account handling comply with Oregon rules. Transaction and trust-account records must be retained for the period required by OREA and kept available for the Agency's inspection, with client funds held in proper clients' trust accounts and never commingled with the broker's own money.
