Missouri's Agency and Representation Model for Licensees

Missouri law recognizes several brokerage relationships, including seller's agent, buyer's agent, dual agent, designated agent, and transaction broker. A licensee may also act as a transaction broker, who assists parties without representing either as a fiduciary client. Dual agency and designated agency are permitted in Missouri only with the written consent of the affected parties, and the relationship must be disclosed before the customer becomes a client.
