🏛️ State License Law 📍 MissouriThe Missouri Real Estate Commission (MREC) enforces the license law and may investigate complaints against licensees. Where grounds exist, such as fraud, misrepresentation, commingling of client funds, or dishonest dealing, the matter may be referred to the Administrative Hearing Commission, and the MREC may impose discipline including censure, probation, suspension, or revocation. Unlike some states, Missouri does not maintain a real estate recovery or guaranty fund, so injured consumers pursue civil remedies rather than a state fund.
