Before sitting for the salesperson exam, an applicant must complete 120 hours of approved college-level coursework covering Principles & Practices, Real Estate Law, Real Estate Finance, and Real Estate Appraisal. A salesperson license is not independent: every salesperson must work under and be supervised by a licensed Ohio broker, who is responsible for the salesperson's professional conduct.
