🏛️ State License Law 📍 ColoradoThe Colorado Real Estate Commission, within the Division of Real Estate (DORA), regulates brokers and enforces license law. Upon finding violations such as fraud, misrepresentation, or mishandling of trust funds, it may censure a licensee or impose fines, suspension, or revocation. Colorado also funds a Real Estate Recovery Fund that can reimburse harmed members of the public for certain unpaid judgments against licensees, subject to statutory caps; a licensee whose actions cause a payout has the license suspended until the fund is repaid with interest.
